May I never deny the existence of Brahman. May I never have incompletion with Brahman. May Brahman never deny me or withdraw Its grace from me.

Some of the worst stupid things human beings does. Listen, when they have an incompletion suddenly they will deny the existence of God itself. I have seen, when they pass in the exam they will break coconut in front of Ganesha. When they fail in the exam they break Ganesha itself. When they pass they will break coconut in front of Ganesha, when they fail they break Ganesha itself.

When you have incompletion denying the very Existence, is the worst stupidity. Because your father did not give you pocket money, you can’t declare, “you are no more father for me.” Whether you declare or not he has already fathered you, nothing can be done. He is your father, because you are stupid enough to hold up boards, held a protest, you hold a protest like these stupid atheists do around, all these fellows gather around and put a board – “no God. No God.” God is going to disappear or what? no. It is like on the board you write – there is no board, no board. On the God only you can do protest there is no God. I saw an add on a hoarding two line –Does the billboard work. Next line: Yes it worked just now. (more…)

Listen, the kind of the inner space you carry, is YOU! Listen to the first statement.

The inner space you carry is YOU!

That kind of lifestyle only you are going to attract, that kind of people only you are going to attract, that kind of life only you are going to live, that is the way you are going to be respected, held by others. The inner space you carry is your Life, that is the blueprint of your Life. Knowingly or unknowingly whether you want or not, you will build your Life only based on the blueprint you are carrying, understand! The inner space you are carry is the blue print you are carrying.

From morning till night if your inner space is all about physical pleasures, having or not having, you will only be around that kind of people, fighting with those kind of people, who are fighting for their physical pleasures. They do not know anything higher. Whole day if you are bothered only about others opinion, you will be living in the frequency where people run only for reward, award, noble prize, award, reward, name, fame, noble prize, you will be attracting only those people, you will be living amongst only those people. 18th verse last day on Isavasya Upanishad. I wanted to give the essence of this Upanishad, through all the 18 verses, what they are trying to convey to us, they conveyed in the last verse, the essence.

agne naya supathā rāye asmān viśvāni deva vayunāni vidvān |

yuyodhy asmaj juhurāṇam eno bhūyiṣṭhāṁ te nama-uktiṁ vidhema || 18 ||

“O Agni, the Fire God! Knower of all our actions and all that is worth knowing, You must take us along the righteous and auspicious path of completion, leading us to experience the Supreme Consciousness, the original space of Complete Completion. O God, Consciousness! May you remove all our incompletions that are obstacles on our good path of completion, beyond coming and going, birth and death. Onto You we surrender with many reverential words, bowing down again and again.”

Listen. If I squeeze this whole 18 verses, the essence I see is intense seeking.

Seeking is the way God in you wakes up.

Understand, Seeking is the way God in you wakes up.

In the early morning sometimes you feel, you yourself will feel that you are dreaming. That is the way you wake up. How many of you have experienced the state that I am describing? Same way, listen. Seeking is the way you wake up to your reality. Don’t fall asleep, don’t turn away when the Seeking is awakened in you. Understand. After remembering you are dreaming, you just pull up your blanket and turn and sleep, how stupid you are. Same way, after just having seeking, after smelling seeking in your life, after tasting seeking in your life, if you just turn and loose that intensity in seeking that is the most stupid thing that can happen to you in your life. I will continue to expand on the 18th verse of Isavasya Upanishad.

agne naya supathā rāye asmān viśvāni deva vayunāni vidvān |

yuyodhy asmaj juhurāṇam eno bhūyiṣṭhāṁ te nama-uktiṁ vidhema || 18 ||

Listen.

O Agni, the Fire God! Knower of all our actions and all that is worth knowing, You must take us along the righteous and auspicious path of completion, leading us to experience the Supreme Consciousness, the original space of Complete Completion. O God, Consciousness! May you remove all our incompletions that are obstacles on our good path of completion; beyond coming and going, birth and death. Onto You we surrender with many reverential words, bowing down again and again.

Listen. The first part of the verse I explained – the best prayer you can do is – lead us to take us along the righteous and auspicious path of Completion, the original space of Complete Completion.

The next line – “Oh God, Consciousness. May you remove all of our incompletions that are obstacles on our good path, and completion beyond coming and going, birth and death.”

Understand, two important sacred secrets you need to catch in this verse. (more…)

At the age of 10, in Arunachaleshwara temple in the shrine, Sannidhi of Devi – Unnamalai Amman. I was standing in one corner, suddenly I saw the cosmic geometrical representation. That time I did not know the word, only now, later on I came to know, it is Sri Yantra in the golden, shining, absolute, energy light form. And then, Devi appeared in this very form She is gracing now with Lakshmi and Saraswati. When I had darshan I saw only Devi Bhuvaneshwari. Here she is gracing with Lakshmi and Saraswati. There, when I had darshan, I saw Her only this form – the Ankusha and Pasha and Abhaya and Varada. It’s just too much, too much. Slowly that very geometry and that form, both disappeared into My inner-space. Then I went back to home, carved the deity as I experienced in the stone, carved the Devi, the same way I saw in stone and carved that Sri Chakra the same way I saw in copper plate. This happened. You can see the yantra I carved after the darshan at the age of 10 and this is the deity of the Devi I carved a the age of 10. Actually this happened during Navaratri only. I do not know whether it happened exactly on the 4th day and 5th day and all that. But during the Navaratri time.

Let me enter into the Upanishad. Ishavasya Upanishad. I was expanding continuously. Today I will continue to expand on 16th verse. Recite along with me.

Complete the frightened, arrogant child in you

Every morning, a father and a son, must be seven or eight-year-old son, both of them go for a walk. Every morning they walk outside their house. One day morning, suddenly, that son started getting frightened seeing an old tree standing in a corner and started crying, ‘Oh, it is a ghost! It is a ghost!’, started shivering, crying, and holding the father, screaming, telling him, ‘Father, please take me away from here! Take me away from here! There is a ghost!’

Please listen, if the father is trying to comfort the child, for the comfort of that child if the father is taking the child away from the tree, I tell you, it is equivalent to me giving upon you! That is the worst thing that can happen in your life! Even if you go to Hell, don’t be given upon by the Guru; you will simply come out.

If you are not given upon by the Guru, even if you go to Hell, you will just come out of Hell Fire untouched. If you are given upon by the Guru, even Heaven will burn you!

There are tons of people who are suffering in Heaven. Indra (ruler of Heaven) himself is suffering in Heaven because he can’t go anywhere else. And Heaven is the most unstable place because of a curse by a rishi. That is why, whenever you feel any pleasure, you will always feel insecurity. Whether you believe it or not, pleasure and insecurity go hand in hand. Understand, if you are not given upon by the Master, even Hell cannot touch you; even if you are in hell, Hell Fire cannot touch you; you will come out of it. If you are given upon by the Master, even Heaven will be the worst hell, suffering.  (more…)

How do we overcome this need for power within our souls, within our body, within our lives?

Mohandas Pai: Swamiji, you know all of us want power in our lives, we want control, we want wealth, we want people to listen to us and this need for power in all human beings, is the root cause of much conflict, because this power is exhilarating, how do we overcome this need for power within our souls, within our body, within our lives?

Sri Nithyananda Swamiji: See first, when we are not able to handle our self, control our self, when we are not able to come to relationship with our self, we are trying to do this to others. For example, when you are not able to handle….when we are not able to handle our self  if we are trying to behave like giving up on us, we will give up on the society. If we are trying to behave like controlling us, we will control the society. How we feel with our self, the same way only we will feel with the world. If somebody is trying to control others and feel, controlling others give them joy, there is a deep vacuum in them that they are not able to control themselves. So they are struggling in controlling them selves. When we are struggling to control our self, we will also be struggling to control the world.

If we come to completion with ourselves knowing clearly, ‘this all can be controlled’. For example my eating habit, sleeping habit, my digestion, all this can be controlled but my blood circulation, my breathing, all this cannot be controlled, that is actually good for me. When we know, ‘I myself put something in automatic gear, for my own benefit’, so this ‘what I put in automatic gear is not binding me, it is actually some of the responsibilities off from me, which I decided’. For example, our breathing pattern, our blood circulation, we put all of them into automatic, by us, it is our decision, we put them into automatic so that we can attend to something else.

End of the day, coming to the Source of everything, Context, and understanding everything, we are responsible, makes thousands of things clear.

When we start getting complete with our self, we will manifest the same completion with others. When we are not able to control our self, we will try to control us and control others. When we are not able to control our self and we give up on us, we will give up on us and give up on others.

Everything, the way we behave whether in a traffic signal or in our career or in our relationship, everything finally boils down to – ‘how we cognize us, how we behave with ourselves’. Our idea about us is the Source from which all this manifest. Even the need for the Power, is not always going to lead to a completion space or happiness space, we know!

Mohandas Pai: we know..

Swamiji: We know!

Mohandas Pai: Yes..we know…

Swamiji: But still!

Mohandas Pai: we do it…we still we do it…

Swamiji: I should say it’s a blind spot.

Mohandas Pai: blind spot…

Swamiji: We know our goal is not going to make us feel the way we want. See we want certain feeling at the end of the goal and we want something as the goal, even though we know this feeling and that goal is not going to come together, sometimes we just start travelling….towards any one direction. So I should say, it is more or less our own blind spots based on our blind spots inside us.

Mohandas Pai: Inside us but Swamiji, we live in a society, now we have relationships. We are children of a parent, we got friends, we marry, we have spouse’s, we have children, we have colleagues, we have Gurus. Now this need to find peace within. How does it correlate with the need to have relationships, can you let relationships dominate your life, how should two people deal with each other when they live together, they are part of a family?

Swamiji: With whoever we live, if we are remembering somebody or seeing somebody more than thrice a day, we are responsible for how they feel about us.

Mohandas Pai: we are responsible..

Swamiji: Yes! Sure, because they are part of us. See, when you cognize everything, for example, if you cognize your peace, can you exclude your spouse and kids and cognize your peace?

Mohandas Pai: No…

Swamiji: If you cognize your happiness, can you exclude them and cognize your happiness?

Mohandas Pai: No…

Swamiji: So if somebody is part of your cognition, they are part of you.

Mohandas Pai: We are all together…

Swamiji: They are part of you…us!

Mohandas Pai: They are part of us

Swamiji: Us! Whoever is part of you, when you cognize your fears, can you exclude them and calculate your fears? No. Something happens to them is also your fear.

Mohandas Pai: Yes…

Swamiji: When you cognize about your joy, can you exclude them and cognize?

Mohandas Pai: No…

Swamiji: So, whoever is part of your fear, your joy, your pleasure, your pain, everything happening to you, is part of you, so how you feel with them, how you feel about them, how they feel about you, for that you are responsible. Unfortunately, we always think,”Why should I be responsible for what they think about me?”

Mohandas Pai: Yes…

Swamiji: Which is see…you don’t need to be responsible for the person who goes in the street, passerby. How he feels about you, you are not responsible. You don’t need to be.

Mohandas Pai: Yes

Swamiji: Because he is not part of your life.

Mohandas Pai: Yes…

Swamiji: But everyone who is part of your life, now all titles you’ve described: spouse, son, father, daughter, Guru, all these relationships are not passerby people, people who walk in the street. They are part of your very cognition. In the cognition if they are part, how can you not be responsible for how they hold you or perceive you? The biggest blind spot all of us have is whoever is part of our thinking system….see for example when you visualize what is your joy – whoever is part of them, part of that visualization, when you visualize what is your fear – whoever is part of that visualization, when you visualize what is your happiness – whoever is part of that visualization – we are not even taking responsibility for what they think about us or how they hold us or how they perceive us!! Taking responsibility for everyone who is part of our cognition, how they feel about us, how they hold us, how they expect us – bringing Completion in that, means

if they are holding us in some way, expecting us to be something – either you make them understand that expectation is not going to become real or if you are very sure you are going it into reality, giving it as a commitment and removing the insecurity from them. This is what I call Completion.

Either you remove that expectation. The way they hold you or you make it as very vocal, oral, clear cut commitment and you stand by it. This removes, I can say 99% of the incompletions.

How do I practically apply the truth Completion is not about being in acceptance, but Completion is about being in the space of no resistance?’

The first point of contact where any external information gets integrated into you as an understanding or cognition, as part of you, which is your default cognition, means your usual way of understanding…..

See, your regular way of understanding, cognizing always tells you “Life should not be this way”. Please understand, it’s like when you order a pizza, who receives it before bringing it to your table is very important.  If some worker who has come to clean your drainage system, cleaning your septic tank, if he receives with his bare hands and brings it to your table, will you be able to eat? So, unfortunately, whenever life comes to your door, you receive it with a dirty hand of “Life should not be this way”. And, after that, whatever you do – you practice spiritual truths, teachings to change this cognition – whatever you do, it will only be a struggle. Listen, after your worker who is cleaning the drainage, with his bare hands if he handles the pizza, brings it to your table and serves, after that how much ever you clean the pizza, will you be able to eat it? anyad evāhur vidyayā-anyad āhur avidyayā |
iti śuśruma dhīrā
a ye nastad vicacakire || 10 ||

It is said that by vidya, the knowledge cognized from the right context of grasping the truth, Consciousness, and the superficial knowledge acquired from the wrong context of grabbing without cognizing the subtle truth certainly a different result is achieved. Similarly it is said that by Avidyā, the authentic actions and the ignorant actions, a very different result is achieved. Thus have we listened from those wise beings who have explained that absolute principle to us.

Essence. The sacred secret, the key truth from this verse—the context you set for you, please understand, the context you set for you before entering into action or life is more important than your decision of entering or not entering into life or what you do or don’t do in life.

Listen once more.

The context you set before entering into life is more important than what you do or don’t do in your life. Context, if you set the context of Bhakti, your travel becomes pilgrimage, food becomes prasada, water becomes tīrtha, ash becomes bhasma, music becomes kirtan. Man becomes human. Understand, setting the context is much more important than the action, commission, or omission of acts, doing something or not doing something. Doing something or not doing something is not that important than the context. (more…)

Please understand, including my teachings, only if it gives you breakthrough, it is completion.

Decide to throw the net out, completely, not part by part.

Today morning when you wake up, if you are feeling bored and tired and having slight stomach pain, not only question your idea of health, question the very idea about the world, life, god.

If you have a tooth pain and you want to get rid of it and you are not able to, question the very idea of world, very idea of world, the very idea of ‘you’ you have. Don’t just question the toothpaste you are using, don’t just question the brand of the medicine you are applying on your teeth, understand. (more…)

Saparyaka Chukram Akayam Avranam Asnabeeram Suthamabhabaveedam Kavir Manishi Paribhuh Swayambhur Yatha Tatha YaTho Than Vyadadas Chashwateebya Samabhyaha

I’ll read out the translation:

Pure Consciousness is all pervasive, beyond the coming and going, absolute radiant and self-effulgent, unembodied, boundaryless, whole, beyond the subtle body, woundless, muscleless, having no incompletion with the body, consciousness is the ever pure space devoid of the dirt of ignorance and is untouched by the delusion of incompletion, consciousness is the all-knowing seer of all, past, present and future, the lord of all minds, Maneeshi, consciousness transcends all beings, Paribhu, consciousness is self-existent, by itself, with its independent will and intelligence, having no cause for it’s happening, it is Pure Consciousness that from time eternal has enriched the ages and each being by ordaining desirable responsibilities, artha, onto them as per their nature and space, and their actions and results there-of.

Today, the last line, we will work on this last line. It’s pure consciousness that from the time eternal has enriched the ages and each being, by ordaining desirable responsibilities onto them as per their nature and space, and their actions and results there-of.

So it is consciousness which is center of all your karma, akarma, vikarma. Your actions, the results, doing, non-doing, liberation from doing and non-doing, all this, all this finally boils down to one, one, that is Consciousness. You can achieve the space of non-doing, real non-doing, only by experiencing Consciousness you can achieve the space and achieve what you want by doing only by being the center of Consciousness.

Understand if you want to achieve what you want to achieve you need to cognize you are Consciousness, if you want to achieve the non-doing, you need to cognize you are consciousness. Whether you want to achieve something by doing or achieve non doing, everything, the consciousness needs to be centered.  (more…)

Saparyaka Chukram Akayam Avranam Asnabeeram Suthamabhabaveedam Kavir Manishi Paribhuh Swayambhur Yatha Tatha YaTho Than Vyadadas Chashwateebya Samabhyaha

I can say in this verse the Upanishadic Rishi is exploding. He just wants to finish it off whatever he wants to say about consciousness. It is like he feels he can’t describe, he can’t spell it out.

Actually whenever you feel you can’t spell it out you can’t describe, you go on repeating the same line ten times. ‘ Oh you know that is that that, that is that that, that is that that.’ When you feel words are not enough you will be repeating the same words which is not enough again and again.
